"Would you agree with me if I say we learn the most from our most difficult experiences?"
I often wonder why we spend so much of our lives focussing on the negative aspects of our most difficult experiences rather than seeing them for what they truly are : OUR GREATEST TEACHERS.
You would not have the wisdom & knowledge you now possess, were it not for the setbacks you have faced, the mistakes you have made & the sufferings you have endeared. Come to realize that pain is a teacher & failure is the highway to success. You cannot learn how to play the guitar without hitting a few wrong notes & you will never learn how to sail if you are not willing to tip the boat over a few times. Begin to see your troubles as blessings, resolve to transform your stumbling blocks into stepping stones & vow to turn your wounds into wisdom.
We all travel different roads to our ultimate destination & no one reaches the end without facing some from of adversity. So rather than oppose it, why not accept it as the way of life? Why not detach ourselves from the outcomes & simply experience every circumstance that enters our life to the fullest? Feel the pain & savour the happiness. If you have never visited the valleys, the view from the mountain-top is not as breath taking. Remember, there are no real failures in life, but only results; there are no true tragedies, but only lessons & there are really no problems, only opportunities waiting to be recognised as solutions by the person of wisdom.
I always try to remind myself that character is shaped not through the life's easiest experiences, but it is during the toughest ones that we discover who we really are & the fullness of the strength that lies within us. Therefore it is said,
...So carry on your own attempts to make your destiny.
