From Principal's Desk:For more than 40 years S N Medical College is providing quality education and educational opportunities to the residents of Jodhpur and for student and faculty from across the country.
We have highly qualified and vastly experienced faculty, wide pool of talented residents, trained nurses and paramedical staff, a huge infrastructure, and established systems which have worked well over the years. We need to further strive to attract and retain the best and discourage mediocrity.
Institute like ours faces number of challenges which need to be addressed constantly to do justice to its premiere position. We need to take optimum steps to establish upcoming specialties, develop or initiate newer therapeutic techniques and infrastructure to undertake cutting edge medical research so as to compete with the best in the country and abroad.
College is entering a growth period. We are developing new laboratories, classrooms and dormitories. And at the same time we are in tab with the changing technology and have shifted from magazines to e-magazines. So I congratulate all the faculty members and students on this advancement.
We have to recognize and appreciate our weaknesses in the systems and cope with it to make our services more patient-friendly. We need to shift towards corporate work culture, exploit available technology to adequately meet the requirements of the patient and their attendant. We need to attract donations and contributions from the industry and philanthropist to have adequate fund to cater even to the need of unprivileged society. Through our combined efforts and the accomplishments of our faculty, staff, students, and alumni, SN Medical College is increasingly being recognized as a great educational choice. And hence we continue to have the mission of providing professional excellence and premiere medical services.
